All applicants must be 21 or over. There are no charges or interest for our customer's first loan which is for up to £300.
The Finance charge for second and subsequent loans is £25 per £100 borrowed.
Representative example of a second or subsequent loan: Loan amount £300: Charges £25 per £100 are £75: Loan period 30 days: Total repayable £375: Representative APR: 1410%.
We do not charge an application fee or money transfer fee - there are no hidden charges.
Loan amounts are based on consumer's credit history and ability to repay loan in accordance with our affordability policy.
The Collection practices of Vivus.co.uk fully comply with Office of Fair Trading debt collection guidelines.
Money is collected via your nominated debit card on the date agreed with you in your Credit Agreement and in accordance with the Good Practice Customer Charter and Consumer Credit Act 1974.
We remind you three days before the payment is due. We do not take unauthorised payments.
Renewals (also known as 'Extensions' or 'Rollovers') are not automatically granted but dependent on your circumstances and affordability checks.
A fee is due if a renewal is granted and this must be paid in full before the renewal is executed. The renewal fee is not added to your principle loan.
Implications of late/non-payment: Non-payment of loans may result in charges and/or raised interest. Please note that non-payment of amounts due under your Credit Agreement may negatively affect your credit score in Credit Reference Agencies. If you breach the agreement the charges are as follows:
Interest will continue to be charged at a flat rate of 1.0% of the credit provided under the agreement for each day or part day you are late in repaying us. A late payment fee of £20.
If we cannot contact you, we will send a letter of reminder of payment. This letter will be charged at £10.
